Man the web sites are blazing with pictures of the Montauk Monster. Many of the web sites say this is some animal experiment from the USDA research facility on Plum Island. Believe it or not, there is no Dr. Morrow crap happening on Plum Island. The 'monster' from the beach is just a poor old dog, most likely it was a pit bull with a decayed nose.

Notice in both pictures the sand is altered around the head, someone moved the corpse around. also notice that there is nothing to compare the size of the corpse to. There are no flies on the corpse. Also in the first picture there is something on the forearm of the animal. What appears to be a beak is just the upper jaw of a carnivore.
